NYSEG issues customer data warning

New York State Electric and Gas has reported a possible data breach of its customer data files in recent days.  Since the majority of our clients are NYSEG customers, we are suggesting that everyone follow-up on this information.

It appears that sensitive NYSEG and RG&E customer information was put in the hands of a third party company who was doing programming work for the company. That company apparently did not have adequate data security systems and procedures in place to full secure that data.

TCC client making mouthguards

Being in Ithaca, NY, we've always told our friends and acquaintences from other parts of the country that we have an ecletic group of clients!

One of our long-standing clients, Ed Ambis, a local dentist, is marketing a new athletic mouthguard and it's patented.  Ambis Mouth Guards are much smaller and thinner than standard mouth guards.  Ed hopes that athletes of all ages will want to wear his mouth guard because they are far more comfotable than standard guards. Young athletes in particular ten to hide them in their gear or not wear them at all!   In addition to protecting the teeth and mouth, mouth guards have shown to protect athletes from concussions.

Here's a link to Ed's website and another to a recent TV interview.
